Softeq was to implement a demo app for controlling physical access to electronically operated doors to showcase the capabilities of the customerโ€™s homegrown technology. The app was to be highlighted at an upcoming industry expo.

The application connects to RFID readers and modifies access matrix to permit/deny certain keycards. The Administrator uses a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet with the application installed to connect to readers over Bluetooth.

The application allows storing thousands of records in an XML format and provides convenient interface for modifying access permissions.

Softeq delivered the app on budget and right on time for the expo. The customer was satisfied with the prompt turnaround and the quality of the resulting demo app.
