Microsoft Certified Virtual Button Driver for Convertible Laptop PCs
Who: A global semiconductor company.
What: A virtual button driver. Designed to be installed on brand-new laptops with a 360° hinge, the program enables added user convenience in toggling the screen orientation. The driver is certified by Microsoft for Windows and is now available in the Windows Update Catalog.
Use Case: A new line of laptop computers built using hardware components of the customer.
Higher Employee Productivity through Informed Decision-making While on the Go
Who: A Denmark-based coating supplier.
What: An iOS client-server app with on-the-go survey completion, data processing, and report generation capabilities.
Use Case: The survey app is designed to assist planners, engineers and maintenance personnel in identifying a recommended coating system during a facility inspection to maximize the asset’s life, while minimizing costs.
Android Assistive Listening and Captioning App for a Custom-made Handheld Device
Who: An entertainment corporation with a worldwide network of theme parks and vacation resorts.
What: Upgrade of an audio description, assistive listening, and captioning enabled device by porting its core software to Android OS.
Use Case: The revamped solution allows for convenient on-demand configuration, supporting FM-based content streaming along with IR/GPS content triggering; UI and content delivery in several foreign languages, including Asian languages; as well as IR, GPS, Battery, LED, FM, and Charging Dock emulation, to enable application testing on non-production devices. The mobile application is supported by a desktop application, which works as a content authoring tool, providing caption content creation and editing. The complete solution affords a truly immersive visitor experience across the client’s global entertainment locations.
A Cross-platform C++ Library for a Desktop App
Who: A leading sports and action camera manufacturer.
What: A cross-platform library underlying the functionality of a Windows/MAC based desktop app operating with a sports and action camera produced by the client.
Use Case: Implemented as a C++ library compatible with the customer’s API, the solution performs a background upload of media files to a user account on Facebook or YouTube, while displaying the upload progress with the possibility to cancel or pause data transfer.
