A Virtual Button Driver Developed by Softeq Now Available in Microsoft Update Catalog

March 18, 2016

In a collaboration with AMD, a global semiconductor company engaged in development of computer processors and related technologies, Softeq contributed its embedded development experience to creating a virtual button driver. The program was initially implemented as a prototype to be used in a new line of laptop computers designed with a 360° hinge and built based on AMD’s hardware components. Now the driver is available as a final product certified by Microsoft for Windows, which, once installed on a laptop, will provide consistent user experience in toggling laptop screen orientation.
