Houston, TX, USA — Softeq Development has been selected a bronze winner of the 2018 IoT Innovator Awards. The company is featured in the ‘Best IoT Hardware — Consumer’ category. Softeq showcased its full-stack development capabilities through an end-to-end IoT solution — multi-sensor smart collar for pets, bundled with a mobile app. The team created both the hardware and the app. To achieve precision in counting a pet’s steps, the team adapted the human step-tracking algorithm to a four-leg walking pattern. The collar was featured among the best gadgets seen at CES 2018.
“Every year, our judging panel finds it increasingly difficult to whittle down the list of applicants and this year is no exception. Our 2018 finalists and winners are continuously raising the bar when it comes to connecting billions of devices in a truly transformative way,” said Kim Kay, editor-in-chief of IoT Innovator.
