The Minsk ODC of Softeq Development, a seasoned provider of embedded software development services, has hit a five-year milestone of successful operations focused on delivering state-of-the-art firmware components and accessories, mobile games, and enterprise mobility solutions for the company’s global customer base.
The office was established to extend the capabilities of Softeq’s Houston-based (TX) headquarters with quality software engineering talent and modern development facilities of Minsk, the renowned Eastern Europe’s IT hub, while leveraging ample advantages of the global delivery model. From the very inception the company was committed to gaining a stronger foothold in the embedded software development field. Softeq attracted the best programming and scientific talent well-versed in algorithmic analysis, electrical engineering, and programming to engage in R&D, as well as partner initiatives in devising new technologies and building innovative digital products.
Over the five years, Softeq Minsk has served as a linchpin for launching several Competency Centers such as Firmware & Embedded Software and Mobile Business Application Development. The Firmware & Embedded Software Competency Center alone has evolved into a central hub for flash memory development expertise tapped by a number of established leaders in the non-volatile memory technology space, including SanDisk and several others.
“We've grown from just an idea into a company that has made a significant impact in the IT sphere, and touched lives in the community,” stated Chris Howard, Softeq’s Founder and CEO in his keynote message to Softeq’ employees. “I'm proud that together we've taken that idea of a great company — filled with smart people who not only get things done, but enjoy working together while doing it — and made it real.”
