Softeq’s Minsk-based Firmware and Embedded Software Development center, originally created to service the needs of one of the world's largest memory chipmakers, has successfully passed a recurrent security audit.
The security controls implemented across the company’s dedicated center premises have been established in conformity with the ISO/IEC 27002 standard that defines the information security management approach at a service organization. The special measures taken at Softeq to safeguard sensitive information and IP of the customer address the following areas: Access Control, Physical and Environmental Security, Information Security Incident Management, Asset Management, Human Resources Security and Legal Policies.
“Thanks to our previous long-term ODC-based partnership with a leading manufacturer of flash memory storage solutions and software, we have accumulated invaluable experience in implementing all the relevant management, operational, and technical safeguards on the premises to keep sensitive IP duly protected and intact,” noted Timour Khachtchevatsky, PMP, Site Manager. “We are happy the security level we have demonstrated at our development facilities has met the customer’s expectations and, along with the high level of development services delivered by Softeq, it will provide an added impetus for forging even more trustworthy and productive relationships.”
