The client was after a trusted service provider with subject-matter experience in custom mobile applications with sensor communication capabilities. The client was seeking to reinvent traditional golf playing with a cutting-edge technology and digitalize golfers’ habitual activities. This would help facilitate better game performance: hit more accurate shots, make informed decisions on the game strategy, etc. Softeq was to build an iOS app that was supposed to integrate with the existing tech environment.
The solution leverages iPhone’s and Apple Watch’s capabilities, smart sensors, and advanced software. They enable golfers to collect and store various performance data, provide comprehensive stats, improve the techniques, and add more fun to the game.
It was important to the customer to be able to obtain accurate data from the sensors. That is why Softeq focused on ensuring smooth communication between different parts of the system. Having worked out a detailed integration roadmap, the team seamlessly incorporated third party data processing algorithms and ensured an uninterrupted flow of the measurement data.
Working in sprints, Softeq team employed the Agile project management methodology combined with Scrum elements.
