More Details

Problem

Softeq was deployed to develop a mobile demo app that would control physical access to electronically operated doors. The application had to connect to RFID readers and permit/deny certain keycards. The app would showcase the capabilities of the customer’s homegrown technology. The client intended to highlight the solution at an upcoming industry expo.

Solution

RFID-based-Control-Access-Demo-App

The application connects to RFID readers and modifies access matrix to permit/deny certain keycards. The Administrator uses a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet with the application installed to connect to readers over Bluetooth.

The application allows storing thousands of records in an XML format and provides convenient interface for modifying access permissions.
