Without further ado, we introduce Softeq's demo game app utilizing the Leap Motion Controller.
“Leap is an exciting technology to work with,” says Tatyana Avlochinskaya, manager of the Zombie Bowling project at Softeq.
The work on the Unity3D powered demo went very smoothly. The only technical limitation we had to deal with was the fireball launch gesture.
Initially the project team designed a different, pretty simple and familiar, gesture to throw the fireball — similar to how kids play snowball fight in the yard. However, because of the vertical position of the arm, Leap wouldn't recognize it, so we had to change it.
If you come across, or strike out, a cutting-edge technology, give us a buzz — we'll help bring your innovation to life through software.
