Searching Code

October 6, 2006

This could be interesting. Google Desktop has proven to be invaluable here at Softeq, and now Google has launched a service for searching computer code. Called Google Code Search (of course!), it is supposed to simplify how developers search for code.

It started as a way for Google's own programmers to search through internal code, but now they've made it publicly available. It searches popular code repositories on the internet.

Check it out at http://google.com/codesearch.

P.S. What's this, a bug in Google Maps?!?
